Just wanted to leave you a quick note on behalf of the society thanking everyone in the team at West Hove for their assistance in making it such an enjoyable day. Pauline and Jane were so helpful when sorting all aspects of the booking, food tasty and well presented, Harvey�s in the bar superb! Course in great condition considering the downpour the previous evening.  I know am a member, but if all society bookings receive the same excellent service (and I�m sure they do) then it�s of great credit to our club.

As this was on my birthday it was just perfect. My party of 10 lovely ladies all had a fabulous time . The food was superb and the DJ brilliant. The staff were very helpful and chatty. I must say that the room was beautifully decorated and had a lovely atmosphere.

Without exception, everyone, not only enjoyed the day but could not stop talking about the condition of your course. It has stood up to the recent bad weather so well, both the greens and fairways are in fantastic condition and your green staff should rightly be proud of their work.

Testament to this is that a member of our party, a previous Course Director at our club went round in four over gross and led his team to victory by amazing 18 points.

Dear Jane,

West Hove Golf Club made my day. Jane promised she would do her best in making my wedding day special and I have to say she achieved much more than I was expecting!! I am a very organised person and I was scared to give out the setting up of the venue to someone as they can't see what my mind had planned and what it should look like. As I got to know Jane my fears soon vanished as much as they could for a bride anyway!! I could tell Jane was going to be organised, symmetrical and know what she was doing. These are things that you could maybe expect from someone in Jane's position but I didn't expect to feel like she had so much time for me when I needed her advice/help. My biggest shock was when Jane took some of the pressure off me by helping organise when contractors could come to set up and to go through with each person from the drape hire to the photo booth.

I dropped all of the items off to Jane the day before my amazing wedding day and I did not see or speak to her until the time I walked in to the reception room and I was blown away by how well it was all done. It was so well set up you would have thought a bride had done it because it looked so perfect, as if a lot of heart and thought had gone into everything. You need someone you can trust to help you with your wedding day, to give that job of setting up your room as you are too busy to do it yourself and I can tell you Jane is the one.

The venue itself is beautiful. First of all you drive to the venue and you actually can't believe how close it is to the dual carriage way as it's so green and you don't hear the traffic. Then as you walk in to the Clubhouse you see a beautiful staircase which was a strong point for me I really thought it was like a fairytale wedding. Up the staircase through the doors you then get blown away by the views, they really are incredible.

The food, well what can I say! Try a taster and it speaks for itself! The flavours in your mouth, it tastes so good you don't know when to stop!! You can go and have food up there as we did and you can tell you are going to get a delicious meal as we did. Clay the catering manager is very happy to meet with you and go through ideas. We had new ideas on our menu and they went down a treat, we had lots of compliments. Brides, make sure you have a taster as you won't get much down you on the day and you'll regret not having any after everyone tells you how lovely it is!!

I don't have time to go in to all of the finer details but I would like to say a massive thank you to Jane, Clay and all of the team there that helped with my wedding day. I wouldn't have changed a single thing and that's saying something. If you want someone to support you and make you feel like you can achieve a fantastic day for you and your guests Jane's the lady. If you want to make sure your guests are not complaining about being hungry, Clay and his team are your guys. And if you want a venue with a view and plenty of space then West Hove Golf Club is your place. Good luck to any future Mr and Mrs and all the best to everyone at West Hove Golf club that made my day.

The atmosphere was very festive and the room and tables were decorated beautifully. The dinner was extremely tasty, and everybody enjoyed their different selections from the good menu choice. The service was extremely well organised and all the food arrived beautifully presented and hot. A brilliant time was had by our large group and the overall verdict was that without a doubt this was the best Christmas party we�ve been to in a long time. Your advice about the table crystals and post box was much appreciated too....as these small extra things made a difference and we probably wouldn't have thought of them!!

We also have had very complimentary feedback from the guests about the meal which was delicious and beautifully served!!

Certainly we were very pleased with our choice of venue and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others!!

We meant to mention that we found someone's red tie the following morning....so if someone was looking for it and left their details ...we could return it. Hope we are not too late on that one!!

"We just wanted to say an absolute massive thank you for all you did to make our work party exceptional. We did make lots of changes at the last hour but nothing was too much trouble and everything run 100% smoothly on the night. Everyone was extremely accommodating and could not do enough for us. The table layouts looked amazing and the room was perfect for our arrival. The ambience was amazing.

We have visited many venue's over the years and 103 people are all saying that this the was the best yet. Clay and his team provided the best food we have ever had. Every course was totally delicious. Everyone is still talking about the chocolate brownie and it has "gone famous " by being the most photographed item on our own Facebook page!

The waiting staff and the bar staff worked so hard all night and were the politest we have every met. Please thank them all personally from all of us. We appreciate all that everyone did for us. We could not have asked for anymore.

The disco at the end really topped off a brilliant night.

I would highly recommend anyone to hold a party/work function here. We will 100% be coming again."

We had the perfect day, venue was amazing, the welcome from Jane and all the team and staff so welcoming. The day was gorgeous not a cloud in the sky.
The food was so excellent, we had the best food Clay and the team gave us, a wonderful three course meal, the attention to detail fantastic. From the chilled salmon starter to the slow roast lamb and chocolate torte, all mouth watering. The service from Clay's team was friendly and they were all very happy to help us with everything.
From the first day I emailed Jane she has been a constant source of knowledge and guided me through our day step by step, even being there on the day to welcome us all in and hand us our Champagne, I do not know what I would have done without her always ready to speak to us on the phone and give us guidance the week before.
I would recommend the golf club to any couple to have their perfect day, your professionalism was apparent throughout our whole experience.
Please accept our heartfelt thanks and we can honestly say that all our guests have phoned and written to say it was simply exceptional."
